# Flag Football. #### Engage, Learn, and Play in YMCA Flag Football. Our mission is to provide an avenue for players of any skill level to participate and enjoy the game of flag football. Players will learn the fundamentals of flag football, both offensive and defensive. Teams may travel to other YMCA of Columbia locations. SEASON: May 18 – July 11, 2026. **First Practice:** Week of May 18. **Game Schedules:** Posted by May 18. **First Game:** May 30, 2026. In our Flag Football program, participants develop essential life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Flag Football offers an opportunity for players to experience different positions on the field. Youth flag football combines fun and fitness in an exciting way. At the YMCA, youth flag football is a fantastic way for children to stay fit while having fun on the field.
