FCYFL, for over 50 years the premier youth tackle football league in Northern Virginia, is now the Northern Virginia Youth Football League –- NVYFL –- which better reflects our broad presence across the region.This season we have 145 teams with players aged 7 to 14 competing across 18 divisions. The league is built on a commitment to ensuring fair competition by matching players based on four key factors: size, age, experience, and skill. Providing more flexibility in weight limits to increase enrollment and participation. Aligning players more closely with those of similar ages for safer and fairer matchups. Adjusting the birthdate eligibility from October 1st to July 1st to better match players with their grade level; however, for the 2025 season only, October 1st will be the cutoff date for determining eligibility for 7-year-olds.
