The purpose of the LAKC is to create a structured environment in which student athletes, coaches, referees, administrators and parents benefit from the organization that provides fair, safe and competitive opportunities to learn and play lacrosse in the greater Kansas City area. Players grades 1st through 8th grade are eligible to play lacrosse through the LAKC Spring league. Lacrosse is played during the spring through LAKC. Youth season typically begins the weekend after spring break and concludes Mid-May. Practice schedules are determined by your individual club.. Games & practices are coordinated by individual programs. Typically practices are close to where players live & go to school. Practices are coordinated through your individual program. Games are played on weekends. All programs that play within LAKC are charged a membership & team fee to cover administration costs of season. All players & coaches are required to have an active USA Lacrosse membership to participate in the LAKC League.
