# 2026 DYSA Mickey Wherry Spring Recreational Tournament. DYSA Spring Recreational Tournament **(not a 3 v 3 event)**. Registration is now open for DYSA’s Mickey Wherry Spring Recreational Tournament. This event will be held on May 2 & 3 at the Kent County Parks and Recreation facility. Teams that are currently registered as members of DYSA play at no cost to them, but we are requesting a $20 donation per team towards the Mickey Wherry Scholarship Fund. Teams that are not currently registered to a member club may participate for a fee of $200. Mickey Wherry was a dedicated individual that stepped up and volunteered to organize the Interclub Soccer League for DYSA. To keep Mr. Wherry’s legacy live on, Delaware Youth Soccer Association hosts a 3 v 3 tournament annually. This scholarship is awarded to an individual that exemplifies the qualities that Mr. Wherry stood for “Fair Play.
